Bolt face bushing

Are there any videos or any other information on the proper procedures to bush a bolt face for a smaller firing pin hole. I figure I already have a solid idea of how this is done, but I like to research everything before I proceed. Lee

Thanks you. Jims method was exactly what I had pictured in my mind. Looks pretty simple!! thanks again, Lee

Firing pin bushing

Skeet:

Jim Borden is one of the finest gunsmiths and manufactures out there. I consider him a personal friend. He has shared his method of busing a Remington style firing pin. His method is tried and true. I found using Jims method opens up the ejector hole and requires it be cleaning up after the bushing is installed. I broke a carbide endmill cleaning up the ejector hole and have changed what I now do. I make my bushing smaller to not interfere with the ejector hole. I believe Greg Tannel also uses a smaller bushing than Jim does in his method. I have done them with threads and I have done them with interference method. had no issues either method.

If you break off a carbide drill bit or endmill inside the ejector hole you can kiss the bolt good bye.
