Although a little windy on Saturday with intermittent monsoons and a continual drizzle all day on Sunday, a good time was had by all.

Great job Bob and it looks like you are focused and ready to do some big things (or is it small things) this year in the sport. Congratulations.

Congratulations Bob Jr.

Joe,
Thanks for the report. I'm not surprised as Bob Jr. is a handfull whenever he shows up. Must have been close as you won the Heavy and 2nd in the LV grand to Jr. You got squeeked, buddy !

Way to go....

Bob. I think I know who your stockmaker was.

I'm guessing that showing Aberegg in 2nd at LV 100 was a typo????

Actually, Jeff...

... has shot small groups the past few weeks at both WWCCA and Holton. And most of his targets on Sunday at 200 were "four and ones". He's getting close to having a handle on this game. I would say that he is trying to shoot too small every group and occasionally gets caught. Once he gets past that, he may have some decent two-gun finishes.

And Joel, I dug too big of a hole on Saturday morning at LV 100 to give Bob an honest challenge. I started out with two fours and a three at LV 100. I actually shot five groups on Sunday at 200 that were smaller than two groups I shot at 100 yards on Saturday. I tried to catch Bob, but he was just too steady on Sunday afternoon. He had me by a little over .0100 in the two-gun. It was a good competitive match and he was the better shooter that weekend.

There are a couple of other guys here in the Eastern Region who are coming on and will be forces to be reckoned with: Ted Heindselman and Bill Symons are shooting very well and Larry Feusse is trying a "regular PPC" more and more instead of tinkering. And Gammon finally has a light gun that looks like it wants to work to go along with his "steady heavy". Then there is "Smilin' Jack" who always makes the match tough.

So far, a pretty decent year in this Region. Let's try and get as many guys over at the Hog Roast this coming weekend as possible.
