Congratulations to Billy Stevens on winning the 2017 Mississippi Valley Regional 4-Gun. This weekend was part two of the match, where all four guns were shot at 200 yards. The match can only be described as "Sweat Fest 2017". We had a heat index of 114 degrees on Saturday combined with some high humidity and switchy winds, made for a lot of cursing on the firing line along with some interesting groups. Then we had a substantial storm on Saturday evening which left the club without power for several hours of Sunday's shooting. Billy was able to power through and come away with the win.
Thanks to the 22 brave souls that attended this match even with the terrible forecast. We really appreciate everyone who takes the time to attend these matches.
Nest match in STL will be the Nationals in September, and then one more local match for the year on October 27-28.
