Best grease/lube

To prevent barrel-receiver galling.
I need to restock-wondering if anything new-better that I need to try.
Kinda tired of the mess molly greases produce.

Anti-seize might be a tad messy, but it does the job.

I don't trust much of anything else. Just remember a little goes a long way.

I also use it to lube scroll chucks and BP draw-bar/collet threads. Doesn't run or gum up. Seems to last a very long time.

Hey Doc.,
All I've been using for years is Mobil 1 synthetic ep grease. Pick it up at any automotive parts store and it's cheap

Just a word of caution from an old man that has learned the hard way. If you are working with stainless on stainless be carefull. If the barrel shank is too nice of a fit in the receiver,lube could be the least of your worries. I know most of you are aware of this,so I mention this in case someone out there doesn't.
