bench and range pics

My range is about 50 yds from the house and shop. Makes for convenient testing. The bench is a single pour, 6 inch thick, 8 foot wide. The legs are 8 5/8 heavy wall pipe from the oil field. They are set 6 feet in the ground. I left the inside of them empty until I poured the top.
The building used to be my girls play house when they were small. I told them, "your to old to play in there anymore, and I'm old enough that I can play:)
I ran power underground out to 200 yds and can also light up the flags for shooting after dark. The range is set up so I can place flags at both 100 and 200 at the same time. I like this for testing, I can shoot a group at 100 and then go to 200 for the next group.

That is really nice! Wish I had the room to do the same.
Gary.

Green with envy!!!

SWEEEEETTTTTTTT!
Very nice Rich! Shoot'n slightly up hill, ha, like Luther... But ya got to
cut a big ole gulch outta the middle of that sucker so the wind goes 4 different directions at once and you can use your 15' Luther poles..!!!:D:D:p

I told them, "your to old to play in there anymore, and I'm old enough that I can play

Haaaaaa!..:D

See ya at Luther and yes, I wish the Mooreland situation would straight'n out so matches can continue..................:cool:

Cale,
What's the deal with Moorland? Email me if you want.

THAT should be illegal for anyone to have such a wonderful plaything.

I could of been sitting there shooting my new barrel but i had to stay at work today dangit . Very nice day today to 65deg nice light wind

frigg'nwickedAWEsome man!!!

Especially that you can shoot anytime. :) Them lights was good thinking. Also good thinking to isolate the legs of the bench. Shooting at night isn't much good for practice but there's just something about "here, let's just run down and check it out" .... at 10:00 at night...you're gonna' have guys over there the night before deer season.

I wish the grass

was that green right now:) I was nice today and did get some time in with new bbls, bullets ect. Just now getting some feedback on bartlein's "T" bbls.
They look good so far but really need some more time with them. I was trying out some of Edelman's bullets today, after I found the tune, man they really shot well.
Looking foward to another year of BR

Richard Just wanted to know if you experienced any ground mirage late in the day? And do those key-holing T - rifle engraved bullets make extra noise , kind of like the sound you would hear from a .22 lr ricochet?
Kurtis

Watch it there Kurtis

I started loading pointy side out and that helped:)
Come on out with Stafford tomorrow, it ought to be a good day.

Richard I think I would rather come out Sunday .You know , when the rain is freezing. Tomorrow is going to be waaaay too nice. 15 degrees 30 mph wind.I think I will cut wood instead.I've got some nice walnut that would make a nice plaque or base for a trophy! I like this picture of your range.

You think the range is nice, you aught to see his shop. Looks like the inside of a hospital surgery room and if you look at the toys he makes, he know how to play doctor.

Richard I saw some golf clubs hanging in your shop, are you trying to make Tiger nervous. Do you hit the golf ball so you can judge how far to hold the bullets to make the group look good. Like Rex your shop is somthing else. Man this blacksmithing is tough stuff.

I just keep the golf clubs

to remind myself that BR isn't that expensive after all:D .
When it gets nice I will give those sierra jackets a good test. I like how they look.
