Bell city had our final match of the season yesterday and I am still reeling from the turnout. 50 guns cam to the line yesterday which was a record turnout for us including state matches.
I will have the final results poated posted after I make sure that everyone is in the right spot and the rookie shooters and junior shooterss get their due.
I cant thank everyone enough for their help calling the line, hanging targets (big thank you to Mrs. Grant), the target crew (especially Victoria Olenick), and all the shooters that came from far and away to make the match great.
I hope everyone enjoyed the food and the company and that we cam continue the successful run of benchrest at bell city.
We had three junior shooters yesterday and they all shot great. Two of them had only shot in one other match before and they came in 1st and 2nd in the custom class against some very good competition.
We also had our CT vs NJ grudge match within the registered match and CT managed to eek out the win by 7x's .
the Bell city shooter of the year saw a similar result from last year with yours truly taking 1st, Vince Staskiewicz taking second and Brian Fitch taking third.
Thanks again guys and gals. See you all next season.
Mike

I had a great time Mike. Unfortunately my ammo was not up to snuff and my scores certainly showed it. I had a friend load it for me as I did not have my press yet. I have since been working on loads and have some promising results. Regardless I had a fantastic time. Next year I will be competitive!

Did you get the win? I saw before the final round you were up an x.
Many thanks and see you next year.

Mark,
I am really glad you enjoyed yourself. You came to one of the largest matches that we have had at Bell City and to stick it out to the end meant a lot.
I did end up squeaking out the W over Rocky Ruby by one X, but it was really close all day. Great competition and great bunch of guys.
If you have any questions I would be happy to talk or email.
Mike

One thing for sure, the BBQ match is bad for the waistline! Great time, Mike.

Regards,
Ron
