Barrel threading/chambering lube

I use a 7% concentration of Cimtech coolant for threading.


So far so good..

Nice threads. Usually coolant isn't the best for threading unless you're doing it at high rpm.

Don't forget to break that unfinished edge on the shoulder.

CimCut is a bit different. $1200 bucks a barrel different. . .

Edge is broken. I come back after with a back cut.

No problems yet.

yes Castrol makes GUN DRILL OIL 2190 works in deep hole drilling / reaming any cutting. Its available at good tool supply companies.
