The famous vectoring ARC tail wind at 10-20mph at 20-30 degree angles was a terror to everyone, except one; Robert Rongero. Temp was a nice 66 degrees with a strong tail wind. Then a 20 degree angle change for ten seconds to the left, then a change to 20 degress to the right for five seconds, then repeat for the whole match. Fun!!!

Congratulations to Robert...glad to see he is back to shooting we missed him here in San Angelo...back in September...he did well shooting here during our June VFS shoot...

Glad to see the Austin club still holding matches and drawing shooters this far into deer season/fall...

Congratulations to Robert, Virgil, and Jim on their victories in some challenging conditions. Way to go guys.

Its good to see some H-Town shooters (Renard and Carl) making the trip to Austin.

Thanks for your comments. It was a day that my equipment and loads to include Graham flags and Randy’s 118 grn bullets all have work in my favor in that particular challenging conditions at ARC.
