!! Attention IR50/50 Competitors and Rangemasters !!

Wilbur

I would have contacted the Rangemasters before posting but Elmer has the contact information and I can't find him anywhere.

As of today, Bill Hinegardner will be the "go to" guy for all matters IR 50/50. I have been struggling to keep my head above water fo quite some time and thought it better to step aside. I will assist Bill until he no longer needs assistance. I am remorseful that I can't continue but have known for a long time that the IR 50/50 competitors and supporters deserve better.

I've every confidence that Bill will pick up here and improve the state of IR 50/50 to a level that meets the approval of all. Please offer him some initial lattitude as he comes to speed.

Wilbur, it saddens me greatly to hear about this and I sincerely hope that things settle down for you, you've always been a pretty decent ambassador for our sport and I've been proud to have your friendship. Good luck.

Wilbur, I have always considered you a friend and one of the good guys. I hope everything works out for you.

I agree with Tim. Loosing you is a significant component of IR 50/50. I can understand your frustrations. You fought a 2 front war; I know Bill and he is a great shooter and everwilling to help other shooters. I am deeply sorry that you made this decision, but fully understand. Please let our score keepers and rangemasters where to send match results at this critical time in our schedule. Thank you very much for the labor you have performed for us in the past. I'm looking forward to working with Bill.

Wilbur has worked a lot harder than most know to keep the game together, and intact. In my mind he is the ultimate diplomat. Whell, he should be in working Washington, but I wouldn't wish that on anybody. Wilbur, you've been a very good friend and shooting partner, and will continue to be.
We'll see how it shakes out. Bill's a good guy, and I'm sure he'll do his best to keep everything running well.

Wilbur, You have given more to this sport than anyone that I know. I know few men who are so steady and reliable. 50/50 will continue because of the work that you have done for us. You are a good man and it is with honor that I call you my friend.

I have always liked 50/50. Because of its' simplicity, it is an easy target to shoot and score. I am looking forward to getting know Bill Hinegardner.

I feel very qualified to understand what Wilbur is doing and why. I have sold my business this year and I can tell you all that it has freed me up to do other things that I like. I am just as busy, but I have more freedom to enjoy my friends and family and my life. Wilbur will be better for passing the torch and moving on at this time of his choosing.

You have been a good friend and I hope this is the best thing for you. I know it's been tough for you over the last several years, maybe you can start spending more time focusing on your self for a change. Hope to see you soon.
I know Bill will do a good job, if he can only deal with all of the personalities, and I'm not just talking about everyone else I include myself in the group.

Wilbur,

Thank you for your assistance and kindness in helping us set up the Unlimited program in Maine. We're a small fish in a big pool and needed your guidance often.

We wish you all the best!!

Wilbur, Thank you very much for all your valued efforts and carrying the IR5050 torch. Without a doubt you have kept it alive, aided many new shooters in finding the sport, and starting up ranges and working on the mundane day to day task. I certainly appreciate you working with me at Willow River to start up a great little range. Thank You!!

Bill, Welcome aboard! Please let us know whatever we can do to help to make this the best it can be. While some ranges have come on board, we have lost some as well. Competitive people have high expectations, but every second of your efforts will be appreciated.
