I'm going to re-order the forum index to place the "General Discussion" forum at the top. If I gave the reason I'd have to kill everybody. Bookmarks and favorites should continue to function properly but if not let me know.
 
Francis, I used the chicken bones and bat wings thing and my computer started working again. First time I tried I used a silk bag and put the bones and wings in it and then added some chicken gravy....didn't work. Bag ruptured and got gravy and bat feathers all over. Next time I left out the gravy and....bingo!!

I hope Wilbur puts this handy tip in his Book of Tips.

Wilbur, I'm OK with general discussion, but I don't know any. I do know some colonels, will that work?:eek:

Thanks !!! You might consider calling Centerfire Benchrest ... 100/200 Yard Benchrest ... in order to define it as the forum of the true short range, point blank, benchrest competitors, inventors, innovators, and experimenters.
 
Hey Wilbur....... as long as you are moving things about, is there a chance you could move the "Gunsmiths Corner" up also? Maybe right under "Centerfire Benchrest"......Just a suggestion.......
 
Ahhh'm so dadburned fahr'ed up about this that I thank you oughtta' put Centerfire BR LAST right next to Match Results. Just basically reverse-engineer the whole dang thang.......

What'd be the harm? I like it. And this site absolutely is for the furtherment of the sport, we perty much ALL came in gradual-like. Lure 'em in and then GRAB the real ones at the end. It's like a fishtrap.

I have always made the joke that Wilbur should have a photo of a representive gun at the top of each forum stating that "if your gun doesn't look like this don't post here."


To be fair I don't think most shooters know what "Benchrest "shooting really is.

I have noticed a few "off topic " posts on the short range Benchrest forum recently that were answered and then dropped off the page quickly .

I think that something valuable was learned by the authors of these "off topic " posts . Much better than flame on - post in the correct forum dummy but I have been tempted.

Jerry, your problem is....

Louisiana Bats do not have feathers. You need to get your essential supplies from a reputable dealer like Marie Leveaux. Good shooting... James

JD, while you and Jones were courting sweet Marie Leveaux, I was with John Cash in Detroit making Coupe de Villes!!

Horses have feathers don't they? I've heard many times "horse feathers"!!
