Once again we are diminished. I just got a note from Jim Carmichel who forwarded a note from Skip Gordon that Lee Six passed away this afternoon about 3:00PM PST.

Sorry to hear that. I know he had been in poor health for a while. I didn't know him that well... He came up and introduced himself to me a couple of years ago when I shot the Visalia Invitational. Of course I had to tell him I shot one of his SPG stocks for several years. He seemed like a great guy.

Sorry to hear...

I am sorry to hear that Lee Six has passed away. I have been shooting with one of his stocks since I started Benchrest. I wish that I could have been able to meet him. From what I have heard from many people he was a very nice and intelligent guy. He will not be forgotten.

My condolences to family and friends.

Lee will be missed by the BR community. He is one who gave much more to the sport than he received. Our prayers are with the family and friends of this icon. James

I will miss Lee...

He always insisted on telling me a joke before he would even think about taking my order... I still remember the one that ended with, "the good ones will do that for you".

Truly one of the unsung heroes of shooting. I can not think of any individual in my life time that had a greater effects on rifle than LEE SIX. He was the man that led the way for so many others.

Well said Big Al, ditto.
