Ignore any federal laws that violate 2nd admendment rights. I know, I know but it lets you know where us and also some other states stand
 
I remember when the federal goverment mandated to the states that the maximun speed limit shall be 55. Several states said, "We won't do it". They held out right up to the point the Feds said "No more highway dollars". End of revolt.

And I remember when the states won that battle, and a few went to 85 and one had no limit at all for several years, until THEY picked their own limit.

Most states have buckled in the past, they there is a different mood in the country now, and many states are going against the government, and the feds can go only so far before a backlash at the polls.
