I am trying to adjust a new 7oo trigger (pro model) and it appears the overtravel and sear engagement screws are locked ,maybe with some space age locktite.I have soaked in laquer thinner but to no avail.
Has anyone run into this and have a solution?

Thanks Chris

I've had the same problem.........

I just took a propane torch and lightly heated up the assembly around the screws, and they freed right up. Hope this helps.

Loctite Loosening Temps.

Hi everyone,
When I had my tool and die shop I used Loctite alot when the tool was subject to high vibration. If the tool was small enough it was dropped in boiling water and this did the job. With the newer Loctite's, 212F might not do. Went onto Loctite's website, and their disassembly instructions list 250C (482F) as the disassembly point.
Check out www.henkelna.com for technical data sheets.
Just recently had to install a new front sight on a Berreta A391. Putting the end of the barrel in boiling water worked, but was still somewhat tight. So, as you've all found out, a small torch will more then suffice---just don't get it so hot that you approch the annealing point. A little is better then to much.
If you have cast zinc parts in the assembly, this will melt at 782F, which also means it will be soft at around 600F. Another reason to watch temp's.

A small soldering iron works well when you need to control temps and or concentrate heat.
