37 remington scope mount ?

Is there any good way to mount a conventional scope on an origional 37 rem?
Or bite the bullet and drill and tap receiver?

Ken Vianni makes a scope rail that uses the rear scope base holes on the barrel and the receiver sight holes . I have one and it works to perfection .If you need a picture , I can email you one . Ballard Shooter
