Not sure what Nosler recommends but I seat mine to 3.35"

Nosler # 6 shows only the SAAMI max coal (3.340"). I don't see any specific coal for their loads. Have you tried any Hodgdon H 100v in that .270?
Nosler recommends seating to a lenght that works best in your rifle and is at or under SAAMI max (3.34")
I believe Nosler developes all data in their book at SAAMI max and then tells readers to adjust to fit their chamber. I do know they develope in SAAMI spec test BBls with a universal receiver, no rifles are used in their load development.

IN the many 270's that I have owned...
I have always had great accuracy seating the bullets to just touch the lands.
I found the best accuracy with the 90g Sierra with IMR 3031 or AA2700, tiny groups.
With the 130's, R#22 with a Fed 210 usually shoots very tiny groups.
