.223 powders,

It's a bit apples and oranges, but I've got a 12 bvss in 22-250 that I use in the rat fields. Varget works really well in it. May use others well, too, but Varget seems to deal well with temp swings. It gets really hot out there sometimes. I use it in my .223 and .204R ARs as well. Hard to find right now, tho.

Can you fit 28.5gr of Varget or R15 in .223?

Anything over 26gr of these has been problematic. I think ball is the way to go for .223 and lighter bullets.
 
Lapua brass loaded 25g. Varget, 69SMK bullet loaded round 2.260" OAL and CCI 450 primer.........;)
