.223, 80 Grain Berger VLD, 600 yard and what powder?

If Varget is the go to powder for the 308 with 168 grain @ 600 yards, what is the top two powders recommended for the .223 at 600 yards using Berger 80 grain VLD using a tight chamber & a 1 in 8 twist. Thanks, Bill.

varget and maybe 4895
the 80 in a 223 is based on 2.4xx oal single fed

In no order:

• Varget;
• IMR-4895;
• H4895;
• Reloder 15
• N140;
• N150;
• N540;
• IMR-4064.

Top velocity is obtained using the slower powders (Varget, 4064, Re15, N150, and N540.) The 4895s give you great accuracy, but not the top speeds. Your call.
