I’ve built a lot of .22-243’s. 8 twist for 80 gr bullets is what most all of them had. A very few 14’s. The first .22-243 I built was a .22 Waldog benchrest barrel that I took off because it was fouling. When rechambered it fouled worse but would run a 52 gr bullet at 4250 FPS out of a 22” barrel. There after they were barreled with 8 twist barrels and would run a 80 gr bullet at 3400-3500 FPS.

22/243 with 14 Twist
I had a24 inch 14 nTwist 22 ppc with a few rounds on it, still in great shape. I re chambered the 22 PPC to a 22/243 AI using a reamer with zero freebore. Now shooting the 60g Sierra HP at 4000 fps into a bug hole.
Carbon fouling is a serious issue with this cartridge, and I hope you have a bore scope to monitor the fouling.
