20 Vartarg

I'm gearing up to put together a 20 Vartarg

The VT is essentially a 221 FB, necked down to 20 cal, with slightly less body taper and shoulder angle increased from 23 degrees to 30 degrees.

I was hoping I could set the headspace short enough to produce a slight crush fit with standard 221 FB cases for fire forming. Neck turning will likely
be required.

This sounds pretty simple and I wonder if I've left out anything.

Would appreciate comments.

20 Vartarg is a Awesome little cartridge! You want have any problems setting up your 20 VT. If your Reamer neck is .232 or bigger you want have to turn necks on most brass cases. Loaded rounds are usually .228-.229 for me. Also once you run a 221 fireball case in the 20 Vartarg die it is almost formed fully just by that operation. No need for a fireforming load. Just find what shoots and have at it. Hope this helps

If its not as easy as hillbilly says, your doing something wrong. Just buy a 20VT F/L die.
