1K Stock Design Anything (NEW!)

Looking for a new LG stock - I like the ST1000 and have used it before but is there anything new to try?

Any new thoughts ?

Would be very hard to make weight for 17-lb class rules with that stock (7.25-lbs).......
Have to use very light barrels, actions, and scopes, to do it.
My barrels are 7-lbs, and action is 2.75-lbs.........
 
JR, The low boy is torque free with a Dasher and it tracks very nice. With a Bat B or a Kelbly F class, you will not have trouble making weight with a 30" HV barrel and NF scope. They are really long i ended up cutting both ends……… jim
 
Boyd - thanks - I really like that stock idea especially with the 5" width option. Would save me time when shooting my Heavy stock. :)


Jim - the Low Boy is nothing new but it is a nice stock just not what I am looking for. Also, I don't like the Dasher much as it is too small for desert winds. :cool:

Hi Tod,

Which stock are you asking about - the Hammer Head or the new one that Boyd has listed?

I am working with Wayne now about one of the new ones Boyd pointed out so when I get the numbers I will post it. I like this stock a lot even if I can't make LT gun weight it will work for a heavy gun for my son-in-law who started shooting with me.

Damm if he didn't out shoot me with my own guns last time out.... you know it was beginners luck - don't you know..... ;)
