Remaining Isabella Match Schedule Is Cancelled

I regretfully have to cancel all of the remaining Isabella matches. I now have weddings that are falling on two of the match dates and a bridal shower on another match date. My summer is fully booked with family duties. Matt

    Isabella Match Cancelled

The match that was scheduled at the Isabella County Sportsman's Club for Saturday, April 21 is cancelled. The parking lot is currently a 12" deep mess and the 2-3" of ice that we received has set back the drying out process for quite a while. Not to mention that on top of all that ice we are...

Doug Weeter left the range today.

Now I know a little bit about Doug who was so helpful to me. We talked once on the phone and communicated numerous times via email. What a remarkable man - he never even met me but he sure went out of his way to help me. Again Doug, rest in peace my friend. Matt

    Need input for range redesign...

Yup! The benches that are on the 200 yard range are well made. They can be moved with a hand operated fork lift. Once they are put in place they do not move. Dom does a great job moving them!

    Need input for range redesign...

I disagree with the 'anchoring'. WWCCA's benches are portable and I have found them to be quite stable. They do not move when you lean on them.

Doug Weeter left the range today.

This news is a horrible shock to me. I have communicated with Doug dozens of times. I found his name associated with the programs that he wrote for rimfire and centerfire benchrest shooting on the web. He wrote a couple of programs that are tailored to our matches. He was so helpful and patient...

    Need input for range redesign...

You can have benches that can be moved around with a hand truck. WWCCA has them and they can clear the benches from the firing line in a matter of minutes to accommodate other shooting disciplines. Contact Tim Bassham (zippy06). He runs the score matches there. And he is on here quite often. I...

Teddy Bears In Place of Olympic Medals?

Who's The Best?!!! So who is the best! It seems now that the Olympics Committee does not want to project who is superior. I can't believe that they didn't award the medals at that ceremony. The winners always got a gift. But they always were awarded their medals after receiving flowers in the...

Teddy Bears In Place of Olympic Medals?

I watched the 10K Biathlon Sprint tonight and was aghast at the medals ceremony! They handed out white teddy bears in place of medals! All three 'medalists' received white teddy bears instead of the gold, silver, and bronze medals. I know that I didn't miss anything since I watched it from start...

Gene Beggs Wind Probe Collecting Water

Has anyone come up with a method to prevent water from collecting on the Solo cups and the arrow shaft while it is raining? Mine just leans over to the far right or left once it starts to rain due to the rain drops collecting on the surfaces of the Solo cups and the arrow shaft. Matt
