Thanks guys. I guess I´ll order the reamer -.003 at the base and -.002 at the shoulder and then just polish the die to perfection before hardening. Should be pretty OK and for sure alot better than the dies I´m using now.

Anyone with experience about how the Bat combi faces work in a RBLPRE action using PPC cases? Is it 100% truble free, or is it a 99% thing? Regards, Peter

Just wanted to ask you guys how much smaller you have you resize reamers ground for a 6ppc? Read something about .003" smaller at the base, and .002" at the shoulder. What kind of squeze do you get then? I´m looking for a little less than a thousand at the base and a little less at the shoulder...

As far as I know, no information about equipment was collected during wbc11..

I asked Wayne C. about neck thickness some time ago when I were to order a new reamer. His answer were pretty much "Choose whatever you want, they all work". As to why they choose .268", his answer were that they just picked a number... I went the .269" route, but haven´t had a single barrel...

Shinny, Make sure to tell him that you want a dedicated HV stock, if you are sure that you will never ever use the rifle as a LV. Don´t know if he makes one, but it sure doesn´t hurt to ask.

Thought that all of Bobs stocks were made out of balsa. Havent asked him, so im not 100% sure.

Why not just run the chamber reamer into the Wilson die to open it up? If the sized cases are working fine, I wouldn´t change the sizing die but the seating die.

I would for sure choose a different stock than a scoville for a true HV rifle. Leonard in some really dense wood would be my choice.

Jumped?! Have never tried that with the .790"s, but maybee I should... Intresting. After shooting the .790"s with a .045" reamer this year, I actually ordered a new one with .065" fb for next season. With stout loads, I could relly feel the bullet on top of the powder column, witch I didn´t...

I shoot better at 200 than at 100. Guess it´s my shooting style that fits better for 200. Also, it you don´t practice much(I sometimes don´t;)), you will most likely be in better shape after a day or two shooting, and thats normaly when the 200 stage begins.

We have the same stuff you guys have. Krigers, Bartleins, Shilens etc. There are some european barrelmakers, but neighter one of them are very popular. The only difference is that we have to pay double the price or more:rolleyes:

If they come out of the chamber looking like that, its most likely the chamber. If they come out normal from the chamber, but looked screewed up after sizing, its most likely the die.:)

The other dies I`m using hit the case more than the Harrels die. Have never had the problem with other dies, but when I first ran a case thru a harrel die I thoght -"what a heck is this?" The marks vanished after some use, so I guess it was some ruff spots in the die.
