I am in need of some dies for a 22 Waldog, 125 short, 243 neck. Does anyone have a set or know of anyone that will make a set for me? Need a neck sizer, bump die, and a seating die. A form die would be nice too.
Regards,
Jay
I shoot a 22 waldog with tuckers and it shoots for group as well as any other BR set up I have. Including the 6mm PPC and a 30BR. I have even shot Bergers that group very well in 22. Test and you shall see. Every rifle is a legacy unto itself.
Yes, I bought the rifle through KSS and had them test for the correct ammo lot and adjust the tuner. I subsequently purchased 5K rounds of Eley Tennex. It shoots amazingly well. I have shot many groups similar to their best efforts but stall have not agged the way they did. I accept...
Match Ammo to NY but NOT to New York City
I had Dan Killough and Mr. Gorham build me a rifle on the 2500X action this past winter. They went through the testing method for me to identify the ammo that works best in my rifle. I ordered many thousands of rounds of the same lot number of Eley...

position shooting
My understanding is she will be doing 3P shooting on 8/11. Dan Killough built the rifle she will be using and even reached out to his clients to obtain enough ammo for that rifle for her to practice and compete. So, I guess some shooters took one for Team USA in the 3P...
scope issue may be...
...a scope bedding issue. I recently went through a similar problem with a much less expensive scope (Sightron 8-32x 30MM tube scope) and discovered that if I zeroed at 50 yards and then went to 100 yards (only adjusting parallax and elevation) the shots went off the...
I have a 22 Waldog (0.125" short 22PPC) in a Hall-S action. Ron Hoehne chambered and fitted a Bartlein 14tw barrel and also made 200 cases for me. I fire formed 30 cases with VV130 and some old Starke 22 cal BR bullets. Even with these fire form loads the set up showed a lot of promise. There...
FWIW...I shot a Hart barrel in 1:15tw with a nominal tight neck 22PPC and that shot amazingly well. I used a faster than normal H4895 pull down powder (I think) with a Berger 52gr FB bullet and shot some the best 200 yard groups I ever shot. I wish I still had the targets but on a Wednesday old...
Prep 100 cases. Fireform once. Check OAL to make sure case still fits the chamber. Fireform again then trim. Then sort by weight. To be honest, I do not sort by weight. But if I did, this is the procedure I would follow. If you are shooting a rail gun with a known accuracy potential then...
Yes, I am well aware. My intentions on buying this barrel is to have another high quality 6MM barrel to put on my Panda. I currently have Bartlein and Hart, now I want a Shilen.
I sent them an email and tried to call on Friday but apparently it was too late. I assume they will not get back to me until sometime Monday or perhaps later. Which may be too late as the reason I am asking is because this apparently LV barrel is on GB for an excellent price if it is a select...
I have several 6PPC barrels and all shoot well, a couple better than the others. However, I have always had a fondness for the 22s. The best groups I ever shot at 200yds were with a FL 22PPC in a Hart 1:15 barrel. I could load the case with 31gr of a fast burning H4895 I had at the time and man...
I have a jug of LT32 coming along with the LT30. I also see the VV-130 is available again at PV so I am going to order some of that and give it a try too.
