    Kelbly Stolle Panda 4-digit serial

    Hi guys,

Can anybody tell me what a Kelbly Stolle Panda 4-digit serial tells about age and maybe some more good things to know? (What firing pin removal tool will fit?)
The serial I ran across is "0113". I was told the action was made back in 2001 (the first 2 digits support that) but I have never seen such a short serial on a panda.

    Cheers,
    Stephan

Maybe to make this thread more general, what are the common serial ranges and what can you learn of them?

My round Polar action is also a 4 digit serial # 84xx. I dont think the amount of digits really matter. I assume it means year and what ever action it is. 2001 13th made.
If your bolt is the same style as mine it takes a regular rem700 tool.

    Panda serial number

What was posted above is correct. The first two digits represent the year produced and the last digits are the number of that model. So the one you referred to would be made in 2001 and the 13th panda produced.

Standard Kleinforst tool for a Remington 700 should be all you need.
