I looked high and low for you in both classes -- what happened?
Mar Report - We had 5 shooters today, including one factory rifle, plus a regular shooter who didn't shoot -- he ran the computer.
We shot a 200-yard, "Tack Driver"-type format (i.e., ten...
Feb Report - We had six shooters today, including one factory rifle.
Thanks to: Jim Andress for running the match, Scott Dittman for scoring, Bill Dittman for running the computer, Jim and Bobby...
With so many of our benchrest friends and acquaintances having "left the range," I thought it would be nice to have a somewhat comprehensive list of them. Feel free to post name(s), year(s) of death,...
Jim, I hate to hear that. My wife and I met Joe at your place (i.e., the Super Shoot) several years ago, and enjoyed visiting with him. My condolences to his family.
You probably know that Wilbur created this forum, and you may know that he was: (a) a life member of the NBRSA, (b) the NBRSA Southeast Regional Director for several years, (c) a member of the SER...
Jan Report -- The weather forecast, and the weather, won today -- the match was cancelled. Yesterday, the forecast for today was ~ 30° at the start time, and ~ 14 MPH wind all day; nevertheless,...
Be patient; I'm hopeful that Elmer may be able to address the issues before long.
Unless nasty weather, high water, the virus, or some other calamity interferes, we're shooting centerfire benchrest "open” matches on the second Sat of each month (as shown below) at River Bend --...
I think someone will eventually try to get in touch with Elmer about whether he has the time and motivation to deal with the issues here.

Steve, I enjoyed your comments; thank you for taking time to post. :)
I'm curious as to how y'all get such good attendance at your matches. To what do you attribute that? Advertising? Shooting only one yardage (thus, finish quicker, but fewer targets)? Proximity to...

I'm in the process of learning a painful lesson, i.e., don't talk politics with family members of a different persuasion. All I can do is wonder how/why it happened.
It sounds like you've got it figured out that the net cost to you is zero. :)
That sounds more expensive than replacing barrels in our shooting hobby.
Nov Report - We had eight shooters yesterday, including: (a) Norm Sills from Billings, MT, shooting his first benchrest match -- with a borrowed 6mm (thanks for shooting with us and come again when...
Thank you, Jim.
Maybe he got upset and left; see post # 8 at http://benchrest.com/showthread.php?105086-This-Forum-Needs-Help!&p=853548&highlight=#post853548
