    Jon was unique

He was very kind to me the few years I knew him. He called me the day before he died, as I recall, to see how I was doing. It was in August I think, which is what you posted.

    We should try to have...

    That's the thing,

how much to take out. I will leave the carbon in the cracks, etc. I just want to keep it off the lands. I shoot my rifles a whole match, both the 6 and 30's and don't clean. They seem to do fine.

    How about gun sales?

they blame the shortages here on new gun sales and everyone believing the current administration is gonna end the sales of everything gun related. I've seen this before but not for this long....

    Your welcome Steve

I found the PR @ Graff& Sons. What I've learned is if one sees something, they must immediately strike. The distributors get a flow of product but the demand still outpaces the supply. Good to hear...

    Product review:

Not having a YouTube channel to demonstrate and not having the interest to figure out how to post pictures here I'll write a report on a couple of products I highly recommend. I have been using a...

    Clean as a whistle

Bolt functions flawlessly. I can see the cocking button advance as the trigger is pulled whilst holding the action upside down. There doesn't logically, seem to be any reason this rifle will not...

    KO, Thanks

The answer is yes, it has done that very thing and I had not considered looking in the bolt head. I have a Rem 700 Hunter Benchrest rifle that Blanks Winchester SR primers and I had some issues with...

    I've used em

over the years and I always thought they were the very best. I've kept track of the Jewels I've seen fail at matches over they years and it's 14. Mostly the bottom of one of the levers breaking off....

Ive sort of put it away for the time being. I feel it will be something stupid simple when I find it.

    I've tried everything

everyone has recommended and still it won't go bang. I'm gonna take it to a friend who is a real "gun Plumber" and see if he can make it go bang.

I've read this through a couple more times

The plus I can see is fitting the bolt tighter. The front of the bolt, .007" isn't exactly close tolerances. .007" is pretty loose. With regard to the bolt slamming: anyone who has ever looked one of...

Never seen another like that one

Must be their rendition of a Polar? Good actions but there is little need for all that length, IMHO.

    Thank you for doing this

It is high time something new was tried and I'm glad it's looking good. How many shots can you get from a filling of air?

    Thanks,
