    For torquing

    I wonder

what these little "thermite grenades" are going to do to barrel steel, especially in the first few inches ahead of the chamber?

Going too light on an auto's mainspring

risks imparting damage to the gun's frame or slide. Think a Colt Gold Cup, designed for mid-range target loads being shot a lot with hardball with no change in mainspring. Not a good idea. Everything...

    Sorry to hear

of the loss to you and all of benchrest. I had one of his actions in the past and he was very helpful with some questions I had about it.

    The screw

on the ring tightens it down at your desired location. When the rifle fires it recoils back but the scope stays put. You have to pull it back against the tightened down stop ring or use a compressed...

    Will do

I got to meet Jim 2 years ago at Bunk's 2-day 3-yardage shoot at LCRC. Got to know him a bit more afterward. Nice man and very good shooter. My condolences to his family and close friends!!

    Part

of the jag's body is near bore size and the length is such that the fat part of the jag keeps it pretty well centered in the bore and the length keeps the brass tip of your rod from getting outside...

    The 7x57mm

seems to have always suffered here in the US from the vast supply of old mausers that are not proofed for the full potential of the 7x57. American ammo has been loaded for the least common...
