Have yall seen any difference between a barrel block setup vs conventional? Maybe the block can act as somewhat of a heat sink? But then a rail will already be using such a big barrel heat aint gone...
Hello sir, can you check your inbox? I tried sending my PM to ya 2x now, but when I check the "Sent" folder, it ain't showing the messages I tried sending?
Any idea what barrel Mr Boyer was running?
Thanks for responding yall.
Anybody got a pic of the rail Sierra uses to test their bullets? And do yall think it would be competitive in BR? Just curious
Has anyone tried running a Mann Accuracy device style V-bed?
Also, with the blockless Stolle rail mentioned earlier, any idea why it shot so good/how vibration was eliminated? Seeing as you...
No to go off topic.. but I assume they're shooting just as good as your previous Brux's?
Have you ever seen anyone run the old school Mann device stationary V-block? Ie barreled action rotated upside down with two rings on the barrel to ride on and fires/recoils in a large V block bed..
Hello Mr Gene, is it very common to see others shooting the same design rail you do? Ie a centerfire style rail..
Have any of yall ever tested the BR vs PPC in a rail? If so, what did you see? PPC still consistently easily out-aggs the BR?
Also, considering that a railgun, it seems to me atleast, isolates...
Have you gotten a chance to run one Mr Jim? Whatd ya think?
Im guessing he can also do long range 6mm barrels? Ie something like 1.250" x 31" fast twist(say 1:7.5)..? Also, 4 groove only or..??
Does/will Mr Lederer do gain twist? What about tight twist .30s?
No doubt most bullets will have ability to work well and with the new Lapua cases you should be able to get that thing hammering. With the capacity of Creedmoor combined with the 130's shorter...
Do you have a RF BR rifle Mr Wilbur? Care to share specs on it?
Lotta people love the 130gr Bergers.. but Hornady also has some cool new stuff with their ELD/ELD-M/ELD-X line(the 147gr sounds pretty killer IMO for a heavy load) that lots a people been trying out...
Very cool sir definitely keep us posted! I would think this round is a serious contender in 300yd, the 400yd egg and clay shoots.. etc. in 6mm or even .224.. What kinda aggs would you expect outta...
6 Grendel also interests me I would think it would be a killer at 300yd..
Thanks for replies yall!
Slightly OT - ..has anyone tried out a .30 Dasher/BRX/BRDX/BRAI/etc improved .30 BR for score? Why aint it caught on like the BR..? Id reckon the extra velocity couldnt hurt...
I hear talk quite a bit about how barrels that look completely f*(#ed in the bore, crown finished with a hacksaw, etc. actually turn out to hammer.. yet never seen such a thing firsthand. Any...
How many non ctf actually do buy 20 barrels at a time and spend the time finding the winners? How many actually do put in the time that Tony Boyer does? Call me crazy but I just doubt that many non...
Thank you sir. Didnt realize Mr Boyer is running Hawk Hills.
Do you think they wouldnt have acclompished the same thing with the same barrel minus the tension?
Maybe hes talking about Daniel Defense Mr Butch? They strictly do ARs, very nice high quality ARs especially at their mid-range pricing, but ARs nonetheless with no relevance to real precision...
