I recently acquired a Redfield 4-12X variable, 5 Star model, matte finish, with the accutrac feature. You bracket your target between two upper cross hairs by turning the power ring untill the target fits and then read the yardage from a "tombstone" in the lower right field of view which is marked from 200 to 600 yds in 50 yard increments. The elevation turret is correspondingly marked 2 through 6. It's held in place with a hex screw. Unscrew it, lift the outside part of the turret off and underneath is a slotted piece which allows you to set the elevation adjustment for a sight in distance of 200 yds, replace the marked turret and your in business to easily adjust bullet impact from 200 to 600 yds by moveing the marked turret. Nice, BUT for what cartridge, what trajectory ?? The turret is also labelled BA with the B being half the size of the A. Anyone know what this turret is calibrated for and/or where to find other turrets ?? Any info would be appreciated.

219, I just googled accutrac 4-12x and How to use AccuTrac system comes up with all the info you could hope for.
There are several turrets A,B,C and these are listed in tables.
