Raymond Brunet left the range.

I learned yesterday that Raymond Brunet died about two or three months ago. He was in a rest home in New Orleans at the time of his death. For those who did not know Raymond, he was an excellent Benchrest competitor, a fine machinest and bullet maker. We are diminished. James Mock

hate to hear that. my first benchrest rifle i bought (from Geraci) was built by Raymond. BRIGHT YELLOW HV Hart 1A , they told me 13.5 lbs but that thing felt like 20lbs :) thats when i first got into benchrest so i never really shot it that good. but i had a few matches it did good. again sorry to hear the news.

something else i remember about him. he shot moly bullets (if i remember right) either way when he would get through running his cleaning rod threw his rifle he kept a gallon of water by him that he would dip the end of his cleaning rod in........... was weird looking because no one else was doing it :)

Thanks James for posting. I had not heard this or even about Raymond being in rest home. I tried to contact Geraci some time back, inquiring on Walter Carraway and Raymond. I got no reply. I shot w/Raymond @ Mickey's range, Super SHoot, and the Crawfish (Lafayette, La.) a number of times. Raymond will be missed. Anyone know if Walter is still w/us? I would like to have his address.
