Wilbur; I missed out on the last couple of threads, and I wanted to add one more right guaranteed by the Democrats. The right to vote after you are DEAD.

Way I heard it from my Texas relatives, that isn't a Democratic right, it's a Texas right. As much a part of Texas elections as "Vote early, and often."
 
Actually Charles it is more of a Democrate thing in Texas. The story about the dead voting stems larger from the Johnson (LBJ) election into the Senate. Many of the far west Texas countys had , shall we call them anomalys, one that stood out above all the others was Val Verda County. With a population of under 15,000 county wide they had a voter turn out for that election of 35,000. Interesting way to win an election...
