I recommend that US citizens arm themselves(legally) for protection from nuts and criminals,because Law Enforcement simply cannot do it. Get proper training in the use of firearms for self defense.
Law Enforcement serves(Not protect) the community in a reactive,after the fact manner. In many cases, that service is too little, too late. My comments are based on experience,not something I read or heard somebody else say. Keep and bear arms,if legally qualified to do so. The life you save or protect may me yours or a loved one.
