changing back to original scope from Bukys mount...........

when i had this done in 2008 he sent all the parts back to me that he took out. if i want to change it back can it be done?....................... or would it be best to leave it alone (not that i would try to do it) and sale the scope with the Bukys mount and get a new scope?................. if any of that made since :)
