    Michael Petrov

    Gents,

Since most of us read Precision Shooting, some might remember Michael Petrov...he wrote the very entertaining "Golden Era Gunsmiths" articles. I found this today on Double Gun Shop website...

I cold-called Michael one day with an old Springfield sporter question. Helluva nice guy. Spent a very enjoyable hour chatting with him.

God calls another gun crank back home...

i also called Micheal about a Sukalle built Mauser custom in .270 WCF. We had a couple of more conversations including both showing interest in the same rifle. As it turned out I was waiting for him to buy it and he was hoping I would buy it. A great guy and will be missed.
