    Kris,
Thanks for putting on a great shoot, I really enjoyed it and meeting your brothers and daughter, great family. I want to thank you for the use of your rifle on Sat. It shoots much better than I do. There is nothing like a weekend of shooting, especially with such good entertainment ( Arnold Jewell) and a few others.
See ya at another shoot down the road soon I hope.

    So

What is the general consensus on Jerry's latest electronic flag effort.

I am on the rotation at the Nationals where they will be used in conjunction with regular flags. More reason I should have been there.........jackie

It looks to be working pretty good as He and Tommy Gillespie were using it and both shot well.

Are you guys wishing you were at the shoot yet?
Arnold was looking serious because he was trying to win his quarters back from me. By the way, he did.http://benchrest.com/images/smilies/smile.gif Ray

    No problem Sam

Glad I could help....too bad I had that weak spring. I plan to take the rifle out this weekend and see if the spacer helps. It was good to see you Duke's and tell Jason he did a great job pointing that ugly orange gun He is going to be one tough competitor.

Jackie I shot on Jerry,s rotatoin at the Bluebonnet and used his smart flag it works very good . I checked the regular flags with the smart flag all weekend. The thing I liked most about it was it let me know way before the regular flags when the wind was sucking back (vains in one directoin and tells in totally opposite direction) and we had a lot of that kind of conditions . It was nice not having the string stretched accross the range. It works very good but you still need a good shooting rifle and good bag handling in wich I struggled with all weekend. Jerry and I are planning on going to Seymour if our schedule allows and you can take a good look at it there.
