Thanks 333smitty :
Very helpful links, just what the Doctor ordered. That Bench Mark is nor spitting out
cut-rifled is GREAT.
One link mentioned Kevin. He is the guy I used for a Sav-TGT time/true/FP-spring job.
To say I like his work is an understatement. With a Krieger-13.5T in 6BR I was shooting in
the low 3's before the action work. Sunday 12-12-10, at our monthly non-reg, short
100&200 match, shooting S-70 MK's, at 100 I shot .185, .262 & .168. Scarry for this amature.

bill
you would of got 25 or more replys if you would of posted shilen barrels ?
I think benchmark barrels are as good as they come. but who am i to say!! Lee
Last year over the 4th of July weekend in Tacoma, WA, using a Benchmark barrel, Mark Walker set a World Record single 5 shot unlimited group at 200 yards @.0846 inches.
I`d say they are alright.
I've used Benchmark rimfire barrels for years. Won the IR5050 3 gun Nationals with 'em back in 2006. I have 5 of 'em on order right now. I haven't used any of their CF barrels but have some friends who have on 600 yard rifles and they love 'em. Great folks to deal with and they make superb barrels to boot. Nobody makes a better rimfire barrel.
I've been using them some, mostly 8 twist 6's for 600 yards. I've smithed several in 7mm & a 308 too. I agree they are good shootin barrels and good people to do business with.
