    Open Grove Results-4-26

    There were 5 shooters that enjoyed a beautiful warm evening, just a nice breeze, with a little switch. John Carter had a great x count for his third target, but came up short by one point for a 249 13x. Dale Herrick had his best so far in the Match class with a 242 2x. There was good shooting by all.

    Match Class:
    1) Dale Herrick, 239 3x, 242 2x, 236 3x, == 717 8x
    2) Glen Robinson 228 1x, 226 1x, 240 3x, == 694 5x

    Unlimited:
    1) Joe Friedrich, 249 7x, 249 6x, 250 6x, == 748 19x
    2) John Carter, 249 8x, 246 2x, 249 13x == 744 23x
    3) Jim Herrick, 247 2x, 240 2x, 241 3x, == 728 6x

    Thanks for the help scoring, and we will see everyone next Saturday.

    Boy, you Left-Coasters sure are in a groove! ~I know, I know; you're in a "Grove", not a "Groove"~. Any way you look at it, you boys are putting up some scores that are sure going to be tough to equal, let alone beat, even indoors. Heck, I'll be thrilled just to match Joe's or John's worse scores of the evening down at Holbrook's indoor match next Saturday!

    Good shooting men!

    Thumbs up Congratulation Joe on another 250.

    What can I say, we had really good shoot. Every one shot good.
    You know what! this is a lot more fun, when you only shoot up about $2 in pellets.
    And there are no zinger shots, you know the one's ha what caused that shot to drop or go hi' .
    I can hardly wait to hear what you guys shoot indoor. Good Luck

    Look for the scores to improve

    John,
    I could not agree with you more. Gary and I were talking a couple days ago and find shooting air rifles to be much more enjoyable than our rimfire rifles and the benefit of lower cost accurate shooting a blessing.
    Over the long haul the cost savings in ammo cost will be astonishing
