    6 BR Case Length

What is the proper trim to length for a 6 BR case. I've read 1.550, 1.5598 and new Lapua brass is 1.553. Am I splitting hairs here?
Guess it's time to buy a new reloading manual or 2.

It depends on whether your chamber is SAMMI standard (1.550") or a short match chamber (1.515") as my Remington 40XB Rangemaster is.

You really need to check YOUR chamber.

According to the paper work that came with the rifle the 1.515 trim length is correct! Maximum case length (again according to the paper work) is 1.520". The same dimentions are true for the .22 BR Remington that I also have!
