Yes. The Sinclair mandrels will not work. (You *could* use one, but you'd be giving up the fine adjustment that makes a pumpkin a pumpkin).

are. I was too quick to ask the question as I was thinking about the cutters available for the pumpkin at PMA. I don't see they offer the turning mandrels. Is Nielson still making the turning mandrels for sale? I thought he was out of it completely??

    Pick your caliber.

You also need a holder (die body) for the mandrel.

Hokayyyyy....at the risk of being flamed, detested and despised I must rephrase this...... NOT to argue with Butch, nor to in any way "correct" him but for the edification of earnest young minds full of mush who may be reading.

#1 and firstly/mostly BUTCH IS RIGHT, but as a young-minded man (some will even say "immature") I believe that if I used the term "cam" in the mixed company I keep most of the guys in the room would think "egg-shaped" or "lift and duration" or Mathews SoloCam....... anything but ROUND

The turner mandrels are still ROUND, just shifted over from the centerline of the mounting hole

probably an insignificant thing to alla you'se reading here..... but I don't CARE what y'all olde pharts think. All's I care about is that enquiring young feller who comes here to learn, IF by chance there is still such a thing
