    Interesting

    Very interesting Francis,
Now going on 3 years ago the last stock (carbon fiber/ red wood) that I built has 3 keels. At the time the 3 were made with different slope and width and one of which is 1.5 inches wide. The one currently in use has a 7/8" width and 25 degree angle, very stable at least for score........lots of time for design and fabrication with the long winter coming..

Dave, when the first year of the new Sporter rule came out, I saw a few shooters build rifles to take advantage of the fewer restrictions. But in the past year, I don't recall seeing a single shooter with stock or barrel configuration that was any different than the regular LV stocks.

At the Nationals this year, did anybody shoot, in class Sporter, anything other than their regular 10.5 lb LV Rifles?.

Another interesting note would be how many shooters just shot their LV in HV?

Some people are born experimenters, I'm not one of them. I have enough of a challenge tuning, shooting my Lv and making bullets.

I would guess less than 10% on your Lv/Hv question.

How much more can you add to the stock and realistically hope to make weight?

My thought was that you'd remove from the fore end to add to the aft end.
What time is it anyway? I have four pendulum clocks to stop and wait for time to pass to start again.
