the chinese were made on tired russian tooling, then their own.

ak/sks out performs the ar at short range,1-250 or so, then the accuracy of the ar takes over
for the record an ak zero'd at 100 has a TWENTYSEVEN INCH DROP AT 300.... an ar is only inches.

years ago i thought there was a post where more experienced workers made the match, plus more inspections..

for the record, i got mine today

az br shooters match today and sunday.
more like 42 a the start, maybe 60 at the end.
very tricky "no wind" conditions.

i have discovered i am not the only one in arizona that has not got the december issue!

i have no shortages of competition parts...
the closest to a shortage is no top quality 300 wsm brass.
all else i am good......plan ahead

i think a lot would depend on the cartridge.
