My tuners can be purchased through Reloading International. They aren't as bas as they were a short while ago, but our infinitely wise gov't still sees them as a controlled gun part.

I wouldn't go that far:eek: but they do all work on the same principle.
Judging by the December issue, she is gifted at this and did a wonderful job. I was pleasantly surprised with that issue and paid attention to the changes that were apparent with her influence.

I wouldn't totally dismiss this. It's amazing how far scales have come in just a few years and the prices have dropped drastically, for what you get. I've got a $40 set of scales that it use to take...
I use a die reamer that is .003" smaller than the chamber reamer. This yields a sized piece of brass that's about .0015 smaller at the shoulder and .0005-.0006 smaller at the web, opposed to a fire...
Wilbur, I hope this is ok. If not, please delete this post.
I just posted a Christmas sale on our tuners in the classifieds. I'll be donating to Wilbur and this site, that has been the go to...
Only three things there to stop forward bolt travel..bbl tenon, bolt handle and the cocking piece/trigger sear. I suspect your problem is the latter. But..and it's a big one:p, you said .08. Is that...
Hard to imagine. I spoke with Gene by phone earlier this month and he seemed fine.
He will be missed.
Thank you Al and Gabe! And anyone else that I might have failed to mention.
Looks like they're gonna sell pretty well. It took a bit to figure out the formula to make it work pretty much just...
5 ounces of just plain sexy! They took some engineering to get them just the way I wanted. Biggest issue was years of giving instructions on how to use my previous model had to apply to the new...
Sounds to me like he's shooting score targets. As we know, if a gun won't group, it won't score well either. It may take some time but I think we should help and encourage new shooters as they...
Thanks for the kind words Butch!
That beats nothing, by a lot. At least you know the importance of some sort of flag. That's way ahead of a lot of new shooters.
If Butch is coaching him along, I'm sure he'll be fine but ultimately, he may want a mentor to take him under their wing for a while that is closer by. There are several in the Pa area that I'm sure...
Technically yes, but realistically, 100 is not enough for me. I shoot more sighters than most people do, though. Jmo, but I call 150 the minimum I'll go with. I understand that some can and do get by...
Load 150+ rounds for your gun and go to that match. If the gun doesn't meet the rules they can still let you shoot head to head with the rest but not actually count your scores for the win or year...
You're right, Dan. 2020 has been a tough year and there have been numerous times that I had to back out of matches at the last minute and others that I couldn't make for various reasons.
This match...
I wish I could! Sounds like fun and I'm sure it will be.
Congrats Eddie! Wish I was there to see it and shake your hand in person! (maybe a fist bump);)
Way to go!
Congrats Tony!
I'm surprised that load loosened primer pockets. It's hard to find pressure with h4198 and typical 110-118gr br bullets used in a 30BR commonly. Now, you'll have to define loosened, because not being...
I'd gladly take them in.
How is that related to the op?
Were you at either match?
Carry on.
Look at those scores! Just WOW! If you don't know anything abut UBR scoring etc...trust me...those would smash most records..group or score. Amazing shooting and at the highest level....and during a...
Depends ho hot I load. I recently had to change after the 2nd firing, but that was my fault and a bought lesson:(. Typically though, I use it for around 15 firings or so.
I knew better but that...
