Around here, we do a lot of light stocks to accommodate LV class.
If the barrelled action is shooting great, don't touch it. Go for a lighter stock, like Tony said.
We, Ricardo (stock maker) and...
Simple question...
It's clear a longer bolt arm on the V3 Turbos. Is this due to a more lever to overcome the three lugs, or is it just design?
Very interesting points, and thanks for sharing.
Some years ago I learned from a well seasoned champion... "you are loosing too many 10s on sighters".
It took me some time to really understood...
Well, looks like target panic is not an issue. Good!
Let's go further...
How do you mentally approach a card?
How do you shoot a card? Starting on top, or from below? Rows vs columns?
When...
Yes, only mental.
I know that this thread is a little chaotic, not following a line of thinking.
But I rather tend to continue that path, having it as a talk, rather a lecture.
So, don't be...
1. Ahah... who doesn't? And not only the bolt, did I pick the right ammo?
Think a check list could help here, a mental one I mean. Let's develop an eye sight memory that shows the right place for...
Before addressing the target...
Let us know the very last seconds before the voice: "Start shooting"
What do you do to prepare the card?
Do you have a routine? Are you anxious, or nervous? How...
very wise words
Thanks Tony, and my question was more a rhetoric one, because it won't be shoot that way.
Maybe I'm too picky, but even for just a photo, a better approach could have been taken.
I noted the rear ring is poorly mounted on the base.
There are other photos that show it with the scope, and in fact the rear ring is off...
Any update coming?
Nice to learn different solutions to the same issue... others noise.
However, we can't use any electronics on the line, so those type of ear accessories aren't allowed.
But we can use a double...
Concentration and focus, two different beasts...
You can concentrate and not focus but not the other way around.
So, how to concentrate and disconnect from exterior noise? Do you mean you have an...
Establishing goals.
How do you do it?
How to realize that's a fair goal or not just a dream... and, can we dream to have that goal?
Comparing to economics, micro goals and macro goals?
They don't.
They test as you have sent the rifle.
Thanks for the input Joe.
Passion!
Passion is a major key driver, indeed. But if we don't have it? Should we wait for it to appear? Should we do something so we can develop it?
No, at least in my...

Practicing is one thing, testing is another thing, putting bullets down the range is another one...
Always do serious practicing with the match gear, including ammo. Hence the...
Until today, I have just saw a single 250 0x, made during the last Iberian Cup in Spain.
And I can still feel the pain looking at that winning target comparative to mine.
This is one feeling...
Well, let's compare apples to apples, meaning comparing the best possible group size, and not one bad and one good. Taking your exemple being the 249 24x one hole in the center and one hole barely...
Apologise to enter the discussion, being from the other side of the pond...
Just one point to consider. People tend to believe a 249 24x is more accurate than a 250 0x. In fact it isn't.
Why?...
But a bad position tuner can make good ammo look bad...
And that's a two sword blade...
As we don't shoot for groups, why shooting groups for tuning? Well, it's fast and easier to evaluate....
And a good input...
I do prefer leaning forward, anatomic and physiologic reasons, because it's the most relaxing one. Being a relaxed position, uses less muscle tone to be maintained. Muscle tone...
A more down to earth thing...
Sitting technique...
Leaning forward?
Leaning backward?
Staying upright?
I learned one of the hardest thing is knowing when you outshoot your gear. Only then, you have to change things. Right, for the person who only shoots.
But, for the others like you, trying, is a big...
Yes, I did.
I did use, and most say with mix success, the J&J.
It's a nice piece of gear, and apart from putting more weight at the crown area, it could be thought having a couple more benefits....
