The last lot that I tested was Eley Tenex lot # 1017-03243 1058fps
Now this was by no means the best that I have ever tried, but in this day of ammo shortages it was the last bricks of Eley Tenex...

I purchased it here in Australia around 1997 and once I developed some hand-loads that it liked and followed the...
When I test my rifle on a calm day with good ammo it shoots great tight groups.
So when competition day arrives I remind myself that it ain't the rifle, it ain't the ammo, it's just down to the...
Al, with all due respect.
If a large rifle primer (maybe a magnum primer) would work well enough to ignite all the powder in a 50 cal cartridge then why would a special large primer have been...
I specialise in rimfire shooting, same difference.
When I recently visited my local supplier to purchase some Eley Tenex (top shelf stuff) I had heard that local (Australian) prices had risen to...

Unfortunately my local range has a prevailing l-r wind and it is a rare day when it drops to zero so I am forced to wait for 'condition' as indicated by my wind flags.

A rare day at the local range, 25 degrees C and the wind flags were hanging limp most of the time.
I figured out that my Annie 54 shot well with Lapua Midas + so what could she do with Eley Tenex?...
