Interestingly, Nosler is now making 375 Ruger brass too. Gotta be better than the Hornady made brass.

It'll be easier to neck the 26 Nosler up to 308 than 375 Ruger down to 308.

    300/26 Nosler

    Hi all

I liked the idea of a 300/375 Ruger, but the Hornady brass I've got doesn't look great.

I've used Nosler brass in my 300 Weatherby heavy gun and it's good quality and consistent.

    It's...

    26 Nosler

    Hi all

I'm surprised a thread hasn't been started yet about the new 26 Nosler.

Yeah, yeah. Barrel burner, blah blah blah... My interest in it is as a source of quality brass for necking up.

    300 Weatherby velocity

My heavy gun is finally finished and I've tried H1000 and Retumbo with the 225 grain Hornady and 230 grain Berger projectiles.

Thanks Roger - that's the exact sort of real experience I'm after.

With your singular report on S&B brass I'm prepared to dismiss the entire notion of giving them a run in a 1000 yard light gun or...

Shoot a cartridge with more recoil

In F-Class there's a relative abundance of time to set up for the next shot compared to benchrest.

There's some variation in chambers for the 300 Ackley. I suggest you try using published 300 Weatherby loads as a starting point because the capacity is only marginally smaller.
