Charlie Hood  seems to have a knack for thinking up "better mousetraps".  When I first saw this gadget I said to myself - "Self, you want one."  The Kwik Kradle as it is called does everything a cleaning cradle and rod caddy does in a single folding unit.  It sets up in seconds and is as sturdy as any cleaning cradle available.

The advantage with the Kwik Kradle is the space saving design which allows you to slide the whole kaboodle into an already overstuffed vehicle using no more space than a standard rod caddy.  In use at the range, it functions as intended with neither frills or disappointment.  The Kwik Kradle confidently supports the rifle and protects cleaning rods well within the expectations of any system.

Set up of the Kwik Kradle is fast and simple.  Spread the supports, raise the rifle cradles, tighten two thumb screws and you are ready to go.   Cleaning rods are held in place using a retainer with an elastic strap that is adjustable for length and tension.

The Kwik Kradle is finished handsomely in black and the quality of construction is consistent with Hood Custom Products' reputation.

It's my guess that the Kwik Kradle will become very popular.
