Greetings Members:
The 2003 match schedule
is as final as it gets and we have a busy year ahead. With seventeen "regular" matches, two rimfire matches, the long range nationals, and the rimfire nationals, our regional plate is full.
Sadly, the Roanoke Rifle and Revolver did not get on board this year. The clubs and match directors have clearly stretched their
means to ensure that we have plenty of shooting available so let's return the gesture by attending the every match possible.
Please note that four regional meetings are scheduled to air any suggestions that come to mind.
The MGGOA club is expanding their firing line to 30 benches, Mickey Coleman of Rachel's Glen is improving the cover over the firing
line and Fayette Sportsman's Club is looking hard at improving the parking and camping situation.
Steve Lee has developed an excellent scoring program and it needs a good workout to ferret out the few remaining bugs. We will
be sending copies to the Match Directors shortly.
Again, get yourself all fired up and go to a match. Remember, that we have a complete set of equipment to support anyone
interested in shooting a benchrest match - just let me know in time to prevent having too many in line at once.
Sincerely,
Wilbur Harris SE Region Director, NBRSA 334-875-1980 wilburh@benchrest.com |
