- Started shooting at 20. Mentored by John Hawkins my shooting and reloading skills were accellerated and I became thoroughly engrossed in the hobby almost to the exclusion of discussing anything else. I have been blessed by association with some of the finest shots in the United States. Member of the Santiago Rifle & Revolver Club, Brea Gun Club and Sacramento Valley Gun Club. I miss the many older wiser gentlemen who helped me along the way as most are gone now. Are there rifle ranges in heaven? I hope so. And I hope it's still difficult to shoot a perfect one hole group.
