Hello Guys,
Have any of you tried the 230 Match Hybrids with a 300 WSM ? I am wondering what the velocity potential would be.

At the risk of being "that guy" ill say what everybody else was thinking- i doubt youll get any info on a WSM cartridge here on a benchrest website. You may have more luck over on accurate shooter website as there is a larger caliber section there and someone may have the info youre looking for.
 
Info 210's

Have a friend w/custom 300 wsm.. He has only shot up to 210 gr bulles,,, 2690 - 2705 fps w/Rel 25,,, Rel 22,, H1000 and I think some retumbo also.. The numbers I posted are the fastest fps w/top loads.

You can get 3000 feet with a 230 in a 300 WSM. It has to be throated long for this bullet to get it. Like a .280 freebore and you need to use 7828ssc with a drop tube. Matt
 
Just chrono'd my Berger 210 VLD hunting bullets at an AVG of 2782 fps and an ES of 15 using N560 and BR2 primers out of a 28" Krieger 1:11 twist barrel in my new Arcas 300WSM
 
My results...

In my rifles, which were 10 twist, 30" barrels of different makes, I was able to produce with 210 VLDs an average of 2950 fps. This was with H4350, 210 primers and Winchester brass. Bullets were kissing the lands.
I hope to to put them to the test again next year.

Could never get over low 2700's and mostly hi 2600's w/210 vld,, but this was 26" barrel, w/short freebore.. In fact a loaded rd. .005 off lands will fit in Rem bdl mag.
 
I run a .210 freebore in mine for the 210 Bergers. The short freebore builds pressure too quick. I also run 30 inch barrel. I can get 2850 with a 210. Matt

i am sure that is a fat finger typo---30 inch bbl.
single shot, not mag fed.
