Whats the cheapest Remington footprint action you can buy ?.
I saw some were that it's cheaper to buy a Surgeon action, than buy a remington action and get it blue printed ?,
And are INTEGRAL SCOPE RAILS(built into the action) used in benchrest circle ?.
I understand cheapest isn't alway the best what you you think ?.

The least expensive that I have found is the Lawton 7000.
Jerry Stillers Predator is just slightly more expensive but close enough to consider it in the same price range.
I think the best buy is the Lawton 7500 it has beefier bolt lugs than a standard Rem bolt, but it is available in single shot only. It may have picked up but I know last fall there was a long waiting list to get a Lawton.

I have been shopping actions also, the cheapest action I have found for what I want to do that still fits the Remington footprint, is the Stiller Predator action. I'm not sure what your looking for, but try this link http://www.6mmbr.com/actions.html, it may help you.

Cheapest is probably to buy a new Remington ADL rifle for under $400, sell the take off stock, barrel, & bottom metal for $75-$100 and for around $300 you have a brand new 700 action.

and since they don't make the ADL anymore I use the SPS and SPS stainless. it comes with floorplate and all like a BDL for about $440. alot cheaper than an ADL if you want the floorplate and if you can still find an ADL.
